This hands-on, 2-day national course on CardioPulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET) and Prehabilitation for Canadian anesthesiologists will deal with in-depth assessment of functional capacity of patients undergoing major surgery.
The course participants will be able to become familiar with physiology of exercise, understand risk assessment, estimate the likelihood of perioperative morbidity and mortality, guide clinical decisions about levels of appropriate care and exercise prescription as part of the prehabilitation and rehabilitation programs.
