Robert Primavesi is an Emergency Physician at The Montreal General Hospital (MGH) and the Montreal Children’s Hospital (MCH) of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC). He served as Site Director of the Department of Emergency Medicine at The Montreal General Hospital from 2000 to 2007. Dr. Primavesi has been an avid contributor to faculty development and continuing medical education within the McGill community for two decades. In 2010, he was recognized on the McGill Faculty Honour List for Educational Excellence as a result of his outstanding service in medical education and for contributions that have had a broad and substantial impact. He is currently Acting Assistant Dean of Admissions for McGill’s medical school, a member of the Committee on Emergency Medicine at the College of Family Physicians of Canada and Chair of CME for the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians
